Changchun Jingyuetan International Forest Mountain Bike Marathon is the first international mountain bike marathon in China. The event is organized by Changchun Municipal People's Government and Swedish Vasaloppet Association, undertaken by Changchun Jingyuetan National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Changchun Tourism Bureau, and Changchun Sports Bureau, and co-sponsored by Changchun Jingyuetan Tourism Development Group, and Changchun Nordic Ways Vasaloppet Management Service Co. The tournament aims to further accelerate the process of building an ecological civilization in Changchun, increase Changchun's international popularity, guide the concept of healthy, leisure and fashionable life, and promote the development of leisure and tourism activities in Changchun.

　　Mountain Bike Marathon is a new fashionable sport that belongs to the category of mountain biking events set up by the International Cycling Union, with a distance of no less than 60 kilometers. Changchun Jingyuetan Forest Mountain Bike Marathon is one of the Jingyuetan "Vasaloppet" brand series events, and is also the sister event of the Swedish Vasaloppet Mountain Bike Cross Country Race, which is divided into the 60 kilometers of Mountain Bike Marathon Time Trial, the 30 kilometers of short-distance Time Trial, and the Giant Cup 2017 Jilin Province College Student League Jingyuetan Station. The overall track consists of 30% mountain slopes, 30% forest greenway, and 40% highway around the lake, which is the most ideal combination of mountain biking and XC race. Participants are required to be between 16 and 60 years old.
